Soccer cake for Bf's Big 30!

This year, my Bf turns 30! I think 30 is a milestone in one's life and therefore I had a mini celebration + surprise for him! And what's a birthday celebration without a cake? My bf loves to play and watch soccer and therefore I made a soccer cake for him!

This time round I went to search on how to cover a soccer cake and I finally got the trick! In addition, I bought a half soccer cake pan which makes things easier as well. This cake looks much neater and more like a soccer! Hope he likes it!

With the cake ready, it is time for the decoration of the place! I booked a staycation at Naumi Liora hotel and the place is quite nice!

Decorated the place with the help of Mummy! Thanks Mummy!

Prepared some finger bites too.

Got the biggest room which come with a porch but the porch at 1st floor is quite small.

So when everything is ready, time for the main lead to arrive! I did not tell him that I had already checked in and prepared the place!

Happy 30th Birthday to the man!

And then his friends arrived and the place turns crowded.

The men at the porch gambling! I'm calling 999!

While the ladies and the kids entertain ourselves by taking selfies

Finally it is time for the cake cutting!

Thanks everybody for coming down!

Happy birthday to the man! Please stay healthy and fit for me although you have just aged another year. Hope you enjoyed this special celebration for you! Next milestone at 40! LOL!

Paw Patrol cake...

This is an order from Jocelyn who wanted a Paw Patrol cake for her daughter Ericia's birthday.. She wanted a 2D icing image cake with some designs at the side too. It was a neat and fast cake working with icing image.

Happy 6th Birthday Ericia!

3D bikini cake...

I rarely do any adult cakes as normally my orders are from mummies who wanted cakes for their son/daughter's birthday! This time round my sis wanted to order a 3D bikini cake for her colleague's birthday as he is known to be a bit horny (just kidding). It is more for the fun of it!

So we made cupcakes and I made them into two big cake pops for the boobs. But in the end I think I did one bigger than the other, Oops! It was actually quite fun doing it and the final result looks quite real. LOL.

Hope Weixin enjoys this cake!

Harry Potter cupcakes...

Another order for Harry Potter and this time it is from Rachel. I rarely had Harry Potter orders since the last one and this time round I had fun doing all the Harry Potter elements too. So Rachel sent me a picture and wanted the elements such as the wand, sorting hat, broomstick, spectacles, cauldron, etc. Check out the final results below! I really like how it turned out!

Thank you Rachel for the order and hope you liked the cupcakes!

Personalized 2D icing image face cake...

This is an order from Sheryl again who wanted to order a farewell cake for one of the teachers in her son's kindergarten. She sent me a picture of Ms Shalene and I ordered an icing image with her picture. An easy 2D icing image cake.

Thank you Ms Shalene and all the best!

Mcqueen and Mater cake and cupcakes set...

An order from Joey this time who previously ordered a Mickey Mouse clubhouse cake and cupcakes set for her son.

http://jembakes.blogspot.sg/2014/12/mickey-mouse-clubhouse-cake-and-cupcakes.html

This time round she wanted a Cars cake and cupcakes set for her son. This is quite a neat and easy set as I have done this design for quite a few orders.

Happy 3rd Birthday Jayrius!

Mcqueen and Mater cake...

Another Cars cake order from Sheryl. I have lost count on the number of Cars cake I did for Sheryl as she has ordered Cars cake for both her sons' birthday for almost 2-3 years. I think she has quite a collection of the Cars toy at home now. LOL. This time round is her elder son Ranen's birthday and she wanted a different design. So we both cracked our brain and finally come out with another design.

I hand crafted the Mater at the side with fondant and luckily it turns out quite well. This was a 10" cake and I was worried that the top would be too plain with only the sign and Mcqueen therefore I added some road elements to spice things up on the top of the cake.

Happy 5th Birthday Ranen!
