Hello kitty cupcakes...

I have lost count of the number of orders I had received for Hellokitty cupcakes but this time round Christina wanted to order these cupcakes for Yvonne as a surprise. I can say I'm really quite skillful in carving the hellokitty faces free-handedly but it is still quite time consuming so I'm considering if I should get a hellokitty mold for mass production. But actually I have not came across one yet. LOL.

This is an order from Joenna for mickey mouse clubhouse cupcakes. She did not want any wordings on it so this is quite a neat set of cupcakes which I had done a few times.

Pokemon cake...

An order from Mrs Tay for her son Taddeo who loves Pokemon. It's quite an easy set whereby I ordered the toppers for the pokemon.

I covered the cake like the pokemon ball so that it looks like the character came out of the cake. LOL.

Soccer cake...

Da jie wanted a soccer cake for her friend who is a fan of Everton fc. I had previously done birthday cupcakes for him. Check it out below.

So this time round I did a soccer ball for him. We baked it in a dome baking tin however the chocolate cake kind of crumbled when we took it out from the pan and therefore the ball is not round. In the end I had to crumble the whole cake and then squashed it back together like a giant cake pop. Luckily it works and the ball is round again! LOL.

Pororo and friends cake...

An order from Angie for a Pororo and friends cake for her daughter's 3rd birthday! At first I was thinking of getting the toppers for the cake however Pororo cake toppers are quite hard to find and due to the time constraint it may be too late for me to order them online. Therefore, I decided to take up the challenge and mold the characters by fondant. In the end the characters turned out really well! Quite good for my 1st attempt at Pororo and friends. LOL.

Angie said her daughter loves the cake! Glad that they like it! I'm more prepared for greater challenges ahead in molding fondant characters! Happy birthday Lovelle!
