Dragon cake and cupcakes set...

This is an order from Catherine for her dragon baby, Cabriel's 1st birthday. I realised I have been doing a lot of cakes for 1st birthday and I really enjoy doing them! Anyway back to the topic, she wanted the cake and cupcakes to be in dragon theme as her son is a dragon baby. So I mould a 3D dragon to place on the cake and 2D dragon face on the cupcakes.

I'm really pleased with how the 3D dragon turns out as it is really neat and looks cute. Hope Cabriel had a fantastic 1st birthday celebration!

Totoro and basketball theme cupcakes..

This time round she wanted cupcakes with Totoro and basketball theme. I did not know what is Totoro at first and she sent me pictures of it. LOL. So I tried to mould the 3D Totoro based on the picture. Pardon me if it is not 100% lookalike as every individual one is mould by hand.

Fairytale book cake and cupcakes set...

This is an order from Jermaine and she is celebrating her daughter Charlotte's 1st birthday and wanted a fairytale and storybook theme party. So she wanted to order a cake shaped in a book with characters from storybooks such as three little pigs, etc. This is another challenge for me as I have never done a book shaped cake before. So I bought two rectangular baking trays to bake two cakes and then placed them together to form a book. I also sliced the middle of the book to create a small curve like how a book should look like when it is open.

To my delight, the covering of the fondant on the cake was not as difficult as what I thought it would be as compared to previous 3D cakes that I have done.

The end result is really neat and the cupcakes complement very well with the cake as well.

It's Minion cake yet again!

As the title suggests, it's yet another minion cake and this time round it's an order from Wendy who has previously ordered hellokitty cupcakes from us as well.

Christmas cupcakes...

This is really a very belated post on Christmas as I'm busy over all the Christmas and Year End events! Although it may be late but here's wishing everyone a great 2014 ahead!

Ok back to the christmas cupcakes. First up is an order from my cousin Irene who is working at SPH magazines and she wanted to give cupcakes to her colleagues for christmas. As her colleagues are in charge of both the male and female magazines, she wanted the cupcakes with elements for the guys as well as the ladies. Therefore, we came up with tech gadgets such as ipad, headphone, camera, etc for the guys and lipstick, handbag, dresses, etc for the ladies. Here's the end result.

Next up is an order from Macey who is working in Metro and she wanted to order christmas cupcakes to the sales staff of the shoes and handbags department in 4 of the branches. This is quite a huge order and we had to deliver the cupcakes to 4 different locations in 2 days time. However, it was a good experience. I made the cupcakes with christmas elements such as candy canes and santa hats.

Finally, it's my turn to make some cupcakes for my colleagues. Wanted to do something different from the previous two sets of cupcakes so came up with some other ideas such as santa stucked in the snow, gingerbread man, etc.

And thus my christmas ended with doing these 3 sets of christmas cupcakes. But I did not have time to work on a christmas logcake this time round. Hopefully will get to do it for this year's christmas! LOL.
